PORTAL Concentrator - Intrinsically Safe Data Hub for Underground
The PORTAL concentrator is a robust device for intrinsically safe data transmission in hazardous underground environments. Equipped with five IS RS485 ports, two IS fibre optic ports, and an ISM band radio module, it supports communication, tracking, and logistics in mines.
Housed in an IP67-rated, explosion-proof casing, the PORTAL ensures safety and reliability. A non-intrinsically safe variant offers Ethernet connectivity for less demanding environments.
Integrated with the FixCom system, the PORTAL acts as a central hub, efficiently collecting and processing data from wire nodes and tracking systems. It features a high-performance CPU for data compression and real-time transmission to servers, enabling effective underground personnel and asset monitoring.
