SWAR-2EX – Reliable Wireless Communication for Rescue
The SWAR-2EX is a compact, wireless communication system designed for fast, secure coordination during rescue operations. It ensures clear underground communication and stable links between rescue teams, base stations, and surface control.
Using a self-deploying radio network, SWAR-2EX keeps the fresh-air base station in constant contact with rescue teams below ground - vital for fast decision-making and safety.
Key System Components:
Fresh-Air Base Station (optional): Acts as the control centre underground, supporting live monitoring, alerts, and radiophone tracking via a temporary wireless setup.
Battery Radio Nodes: Placed around every 50 metres, these nodes build the wireless mesh. Each lasts up to 5 days and ensures network resilience even if individual nodes fail.
Radiotelephones: Enable clear voice communication and support custom protocols for operational and legal compliance.
